Excellent RTS

Fantastic rendition of an RTS. I suggest using a hit test to prevent people from building on top of other buildings, with all the existing building names stored in an array if you are not already doing so.

Great work.

Loved it!

I'd love to see a sequal...I'd like more levels, but I dont particularly like the idea of a level-editor. I think tile-based would take away from the design of this game.

I also think that you should add more color options as the game progesses to increase the challenge!

Great game!

I loved it, and i'll be coming back to it. Does the level advance so you can buy more weapons? I've not played it long enough to get anywhere.

1 bug, the menu doesnt show up...I right-click-play it and it starts. The graphics are great! I liked the whole surround thing and the ship was neat. I'd work a little on the energy trail from the weapon firing though, needed to be more noticable I think.

Great game!

You played my game? COOL!
I love your work.
Me and my friend (swizard) are a big fan of you.
And i know the right click problem..Just to lazy to fix it now.

Something not right...

I really didn't like this game. The graphics were great (I loved the changing time of day) but the gameplay was poor in my opinion. There was no real strategy to it. Infantry and Archers were the only useful weapons because everything dies in 1-2 hits anyway. Calvary was useless because its the first to get hit even in a large group of infantry. Archers were best because they stayed alive the longest. Infantry was great to get a good solid hit on the castle and were mega-cheap. The ram was useless because it was too slow and would get destroyed as soon as it reached the castle by the falling water. The cannon was okay..but it didnt do enough damage to make it worth while and would end up destroyed after a few shots anyway. Saboteurs I really didnt use, they were kinda useful but they'd get killed as easily as infantry so they weren't worth the cost.

Eventually I needed so many units just to reach the castle it lagged pretty badly. I dunno, its a great game I think it just needs some adjustment and added strategy.

Nice game..

A good shooter game. I would not have liked it though if it weren't for the interesting (if not comical and ridiculous) story sequences. My only suggestion would be to make the ship smaller, maybe add a bit of vertical movement to it.

I did like the laser beam glow, and the layering of the background scenery was well done.

Interesting...

Interesting game, super-small! Would make a fantastic preloader game. I liked it.

Great!

What a cute game. The look of it and the sounds were perfect. The only thing I didnt like about it was that the waves would end when there were still a lot of sperm on the screen.

If there are any future updates to the game, a "% Effectiveness" meter would be interesting ;)

Good!

I thought the graphics were a little too pixilated, but the gameplay was great. It really replicated Mario well. Good job!

Hmm

A good game. It is exactly the same as a game uploaded here a couple weeks ago, except you used pac man and frogger graphics. Don't recall the name, someone else may remember...it was a very small black/white game with bouncing dots.

But knowing that, I think the game is good for a challenge. Maybe with different backgrounds though ;) Or...maybe choosing themes for the graphics...such as Pac Man or Frogger or South Park...just some random ideas.

Interesting...

There was a game submitted on NG that had a very similar theme to this one. Where you would navigate a ball around a screen and have to hit the targets and enemy targets would bounce around, which you would of course have to avoid.

Not that there is any connection, but it reminded me of that game. I think the gameplay could be improved. Perhaps by making the balls/targets/enemies themselves smaller (or the targets progressively smaller as you go up in levels). Adding more enemies travelling in different directions would make it more challenging. I think you should reduce the size of all the movieclips and speed it up a notch. I was a little annoyed by the level where the enemy turns on its side...it the collision space becomes larger than the visual object itself...so I'd hit it even though I hadn't 'hit' it.

Put in 50 levels or so with varying themes and graphics, maybe some rendered sprites instead of the Flash drawn graphics...I think this could be very awesome.

But its good the way it is too :)
