Good game

Very original and creative.

I enjoyed this game...

This was a very well-made game. It was quite polished. Personally I found the first few levels to be a little difficult, but I could really catch on to the object/controls without reading any instructions so I give an A+ for simple interface. I did not feel a real progression to upgrading the weapons, and I was frustrated trying to knock out the fast moving asteroids with the slow reload. I thought it might have been good to be a little easier at first (maybe the asteroids could be destroyed with one hit) and progressively get harder, I nearly died by the second level. That being, I think this could be an addictive game if it could be played out longer. But these really are minor things and overall the entire game is great as it is.

Needs better gameplay...

The "choices" were entirely guesswork, which was the only thing I didnt like about this game. I did like the choices, but it would be nice of you could control your units fire as you did with the Jeep part so that even if you do make a poor decision you can fight your way out of it. I really didnt find any tactical logic to any of the suggestions...and the only reason I stopped playing was because I felt I was just clicking the button randomly (why bother reading if there's no thought involved?).

Look forward to future games.

Good game...

I liked it. There was a bug where i couldnt fire while moving and turn left, though I could turn right. Made gameplay a bit difficult. It wasnt until level 8 that I realized my shield level could go down. A bit of lag when the screen was filled, but not terrible. I did feel that it was almost impossible to avoid being hit at times...but the incredible strength of the shields made up for that.

I didnt particularly like the behavior of the ship...I thought it stopped way too fast when I let off the thrust key.

Nice!

Not bad...

Its a good engine...it could use better graphics, perhaps in a 3/4 perspective. The environments were too monotonous, and I would have liked a map to know where I had been. Spent a couple minutes looking for that last Orc and almost got too bored! But, I waited to see what would happen at the end, and found myself disappointed that there weren't more levels. I would like to see more variety in future versions, if you intend to make them. Overall though, I thought the game was really good. There was a bug in the beginning where I would frequently get "stuck" at an enemy after having killed him for a while. That seemed to go away after I had earned lots of stats. Good job!

Amazing!

Wow, fantastic..I loved it...good job.

Paddle not working as it should...

Great game...but the paddle doesnt work as it should. The ball should change direction depending on the area of the paddle you hit it with. As it is, the player has no control over the ball and the only challenge is to manage to catch it before it falls...and its very difficult to hit those last few bricks.

Good but buggy

Took me a few tries just to figure out how to play it. But once I got the hang of it, it was okay. I made it to around level 2000. My problem was that everything was so expensive, and it took so long to make any money, that I would be sitting there waiting for enough cash just to upgrade a small portion of my base that the rest went unprotected. It was pointless to even build in a section if I did not have enough money to build it to the max because it would just get destroyed. The Mechas were absolutely impossible...the machine gun took over 100 hits to kill it. I lost this game because I could not defeat the mechas...they would walk through unprotected areas and it was impossible for me to click them enough times to kill them before they got through. And, the machine gun was WAY too expensive for how underpowered it was.

The menus were constantly in the way, which was very frustrating. I would often click the wrong button and destroy one of my valuable buildings. The spelling was aweful. The game was really complex and well done...but it just seemed like it wasn't 'polished'. I hope there will be a D-fence 3!

Great game!

This is a great game...the graphics are well done with smooth animations. Its very professional. I would argue that it needs a bit more to be a commercial game, although I'd pay $5 to play the full version. Maybe if it had a storyline or more 'space' to explore or move around in.

As it is, I think its great. Didnt find any glitches at all. Nicely done and I look forward to seeing future submissions.

PS: I dont think the ads were too much...you're obviously creating this game to make money, and just like any commercial game developer the DEMO is designed to get you interested in the full game.

Good game..

It is a good game. The graphics are very well done, the menu is nice. Reminds me of something on Sega Genesis.

I do have some comments. The regular bad guys leading up to the boss are far too easy. Just stand in the middle of the screen, and when you see them inch their way in just fire at them...I dont think they managed to get a single shot off, or even make it on the screen.

The boss was more challenging. I liked that I had to jump and fire to hit its head. The controls were far too unresponsive, though. There was a very long pause when firing before I could do anything again. Jumping was very slow...and overall the whole pace of the game was quite slow because the character didnt move well.

Very nice though.
